Cheap Tesla Electric Car Predicted to Come Early 2025

Tesla is expected to present their low-cost electric car in early 2025. This was revealed after Tesla asked several electric car parts suppliers in China to smooth out plans to manufacture this low-cost electric car.

It’s no joke that Tesla asked as many as 20 component suppliers in China to build component factories directly where Tesla’s cheap electric cars were made. It is planned that Tesla’s cheap electric car will be produced at Tesla’s new factory in Mexico.

Tesla asked the suppliers to open factories to smooth out their desire to make cheap electric cars. Because the new regulations set by the United States government allow that to happen.

“The law provides a tax deduction of USD 7,500 (Rp 112 million) for electric vehicles in which 75 percent of the components are produced in North American regions such as the United States, Canada and Mexico,” Weixin wrote.

Not only that, according to Weixin, Tesla poses a serious threat to suppliers in China. If they don’t want to build a component factory in Mexico, Tesla has the authority to terminate the cooperation contract.

So they will no longer be able to supply components for Tesla cars. Of course this will hurt suppliers if they don’t want to help Tesla make cheap electric cars.

Previously, Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, was targeting to make a cheap electric car that costs USD 25,000 or the equivalent of Rp. 373.3 million.

The car, which is expected to have the name Tesla Model 2, is believed to be a best-selling electric car because the price is very affordable.

Currently, the cheapest electric car sold by Tesla is only the Tesla Model 3. The electric car, which is also sold in Indonesia, is originally sold at USD 40,240 or reaches IDR 600 million.

It’s just that in Indonesia the price can increase three times, namely around IDR 1.5 billion to IDR 2 billion.
