Offroad is not for everyone. Yes, not everyone can easily bring a car for fun offroad.

This concern hit us when we tried several off-road tracks prepared by Ford Asia Pacific Direct Markets (Ford APDM). It was no joke that we had to wade through deep mud, pass through fast flowing rivers, and beat big rocks. From there it was natural that we were immediately afraid.
Fortunately our weapons are not random weapons. The Ford Ranger Raptor is like a machine gun that can pulverize opponents as long as they know how to shoot.
Yes, the Ford Ranger Raptor is equipped with various features and driving modes that make you confident when dealing with very tough road terrain. In total there are five driving modes that can be explored, namely Eco, Normal, Sport, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, and Baja.
All you have to do is choose the driving mode according to the road terrain you are facing. When passing through a fast river flow, we are advised to choose the Rock Crawl mode. Likewise, when going through deep mud, all you have to do is turn the button to the Mud/Ruts mode.
In terms of specifications, the Ford Ranger Raptor also makes you feel confident. Ground clearance of 266 millimeters makes this car ready to pass well the various obstacles in front of it.
Not to mention the suspension made by Fox with a diameter of 2.5 inches which is very tough. Not a cheap suspension, to be sure. Inside there is oil lubrication mixed with Teflon material, so that the shock oil temperature is maintained in various conditions.
Not to mention the very tempting engine specifications. The Ford Ranger Raptor is the strongest double cabin car in the Indonesian automotive market today. The dual turbo diesel engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters can generate power of 207 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm.
All that power is channeled to an on demand four-wheel drive system with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can freely choose the drive system that you like, such as 4A, 2WD, 4H and 4L.
This capital should be able to make anyone confident in having fun on even the toughest off-road terrain. It’s just that Ford is really kind.
They include one more feature that is no less special called Trail Control. This feature is like Cruise Control which can make the car drive itself without intervention on the highway.
The difference is Trail Control makes the car run autonomously on rough terrain. The driver just needs to direct the steering wheel and let the computer brain in the car take over the level of speed, wheel distribution and braking so that it can
smoothly pass through rough terrain.
Yes, you just really have to sit back and relax without having to bother pressing the accelerator and brake pedals while passing obstacles. Interestingly, when Trail Control is activated, the 12-inch touch screen on the dashboard will show the road conditions in front of the car, along with the direction the car wants to go.
So you really just have to sit comfortably while going through the heavy obstacles that have been prepared. These advantages actually make you really like being conjured up to be an offroad driver with high flying hours.
So, if you are completely new to the offroad world but can’t stand the urge to go on adventures, the Ford Ranger Raptor seems to be a very attractive choice.
