PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has finally officially released the latest variant of the Suzuki XL7, namely the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, Thursday (15/6/2023). Suzuki’s flagship Low SUV car now has many things that are quite tempting when compared to its older brother.
You could even say that there are new things that are quite interesting when compared with their fellow hybrids, namely the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid.
What is certain is that the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid was indeed presented by Suzuki to introduce electrification technology to the Indonesian people. Suzuki believes that the Indonesian people first need to understand the concept of electrification in a simple way. Well, one of them is the Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology in this Suzuki.
Then, what are the new things that can be felt from this Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, considering that in terms of exterior appearance there are no radical changes at all. Let’s take a look below:
1. New Hero Color
Electric cars, both hybrids, PHEVs and pure batteries, are identical in blue. But make no mistake, the blue Suzuki XL Hybrid is only an ornament. Suzuki instead chose Savana Ivory or ivory for the hero color on the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid. This color is only available on the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid. Not on the regular Suzuki XL7.
2. Idling Start Stop
The hybrid technology embedded by Suzuki on the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid allows the car to do Idling Start Stop or turn off and on by itself when it is in a stopped condition.
This advantage will certainly make the car’s fuel efficiency better.
3. 10Ah battery
The Suzuki XL7 Hybrid has a powerful 10Ah battery. The battery is bigger than the battery in the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid which reaches 6Ah.
This means that the ability of the battery to give a boost to the car when it is started is much greater because it is more powerful in helping the Integrated Started Generator (ISG). Likewise, much better support for electricity to various car devices when stopped in the Idling Start Stop position.
4. New Smart E-Mirror
The rear view mirror for the Suzuki XL7 in the highest variant, Alpha, is always the most interesting part. Because the center mirror is equipped with Smart E-Mirror technology.
This time, on the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, the center mirror is even more sophisticated. Besides being able to digitally display the conditions behind and in front of the car, the center mirror can also split the view into two at once.
How to use it also does not need to press a button like before because it has adopted a touch system.
5. More Elegant Dashboard Colors
The Suzuki XL7 Hybrid is given a more elegant dashboard appearance. The use of dark colors makes the elegant feel stronger.
Likewise, the presence of wood elements is expected to make the appearance more classy.
6. Two-Tone Body Color
Suzuki XL7 Hybrid introduces an interesting color concept, namely two-tone color. The two-color concept is only given to the highest variant of the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid Alpha. In total there are two two-tone color choices to choose from, namely Savana Ivory-Black and White-Black.
7. New Lights and Mirrors Technology
The Suzuki XL7 Hybrid is equipped with new lights that are equipped with the Guide Me Light feature. So the car owner can turn on the car lights from a distance. So it is very easy to find a car when it is in a large parking lot.
